Answer: If your service is suspended due to a payment issue, you will need to submitt and support ticket with your contact information so one of our customer service reps can contact you to update your credit card information. Your number will be held for 30 days. After 30 days your number will be revoked.

Answer: Not at this time. However, we ask that you submitt a support ticket for all questions and issues that need to be addressed. Our staff works on support tickets throughout the day and night.

Answer: If you do not have a pin number to activate your service do not call your provider. you need to submitt a support ticket to Panther Mobile so we can reactivate your service. Support tickets are addressed 7 days a week.

20. How Do I Put My Sim Chip Into My Phone?
Answer: Most Sim Cards are located by removing the back cover and under your battery. Simply remove the old sim card, replace it with your new one. You will be up and running once you activate through the cell phone device. If your phone does not work after putting in the sim chip make sure you have installed it properly.

21. What Type Of Phone Do I Need To Use On The GSM Network?

Answer: In order to use the GSM network you need to have an unlocked GSM phone. For best results all of the phones in the Panther Mobile phone store are unlocked and can be used.

23. Why would Verizon identify the text message as a Verizon text message even though Panther Mobile is using Verizon towers (backbone) when in fact it comes from Panther Mobile customer?
Answer: Even though Panther Mobile uses the Verizon Network of towers, the Panther Mobile to Verizon does not qualify for the Verizon mobile to mobile unlimited talk and text. It is the same way with Panther Mobile's GSM Tier 1 which uses the AT&T network of towers and the GSM Tier 2 which uses the T-Mobile network of towers.

Answer: No,we are a paperless and environmentally friendly company.To keep our service affordable, our plans only accept monthly debit or credit card payments. If your payment doesn't go through, most likely your card information is no longer current, or your credit card is invalid. Please contact us immediately to update your account. Answer: In cellular service there are two main competing network technologies: Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) and Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA). Cell phone carriers T-Mobile and AT&T use GSM Sim cards for their networks. Sprint, Virgin Mobile and Verizon Wireless use the CDMA technology standard in the U.S.

Answer: Tier 1 GSM utilizes the same cellular network of towers as AT&T. Cingular and AT&T phones work without unlocking.

Answer: Wait until you receive your new phone from Panther Mobile because you need to take the IMEI number from under the battery to put on the porting form. Without this information you cannot complete the form.

45. If I purchase the CDMA service and port my number how will I know it has been ported
Answer: Continue using your existing phone service until your phone does not work. Turn the phone completely off. A $2.00 Service Activation Credit will have been applied to your phone, at no additional cost to you. In order for your Panther Mobile "Unlimited Talk & Text" or "1200/1200 Talk & Text" prepaid cellular service to be connected to your phone you will need to follow these 4 simple steps: Step 1. "Power cycle" your phone by turning it OFF and then ON. Then you need to enable your service by pressing *22890 and pressing the SEND or Talk button.
Step 2. Wait for the phone to program itself and then press ANY KEY when it tells you to. Then "power cycle" the phone again.
Step 3. Finally make a short test call from your cell phone, to anyone you want. You should hear that there is a $2.00 balance on your phone and that your minutes are low. (That is because your Unlimited or 1200/1200 Talk & Text package has not yet been added to your account)

Your account is not in good standing with your current provider
Name: Must be exactly as it appears on your account.
Address: Must be exactly as it appears on your account.
Phone number being ported: Check to make sure you enter the number correctly
Wrong MEID or ESN or Hex # NOTE: This number must be from the phone, NOT the battery.
Wrong Account Number
Wrong Pass code: You should always contact your existing carrier and ask them what your pass code is. Here is a suggestion: Tell them you are porting your number and you need to be sure you are giving the correct information on the porting form. A landline port can take up to two weeks.
Panther Mobile has no control on how fast your current provider releases your number

Answer: With an unlimited plan nothing is broken down it does not matter what time of the day you use you phone. If you have the 1200 Talk and 1200 Text it will not matter what time of the day you use your phone but the plan will keep track on how many minutes and texts you use.

Answer: If you are an existing 3G user, you may use your existing phone as long as the phone is a Sim Chip compatitble phone. If you are with other carriers such as Verizon, Sprit, etc., you may need to purchase a new phone or unlock the one you have as long as it is a Sim chip compatible phone. Regardless, you will need to purchase a sim chip from Panther Mobile.

71. How Do I Find the ESN on my phone?

Answer: You will find the ESN number printed on the back of your phone under the battery. It is often labeled a an ESN, MEID, HEX or DEC.

Answer: You can use the HEX number. It can be found under your battery.

Answer: That means, you have not unlocked your phone and until you do, our service will not work. Your current cell phone provider will supply you with your unlock code.

75. What is a sim card?
Answer: Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card is what holds your personal information. GSM phones are the only type of phones that require a Sim Card. These are on the AT&T, T-Mobile and Cingular network of towers.

76. What is an ESN Number?
Answer: An ESN or MEID is a unique number that is used to identify the phone. You will need this number to start your service with Panther Mobile. This number can be found under the battery on your phone.

Answer: IMEI stands for International Mobile Equiptment Identy. It is a factory-installed unique serial number which identifies your handset, which you will need to activate. This number is located under the battery on your phone.

78. What phones can I use for Page Plus (CDMA network)?
Answer: Most cell phones (Verizon, AllTel, etc.) that have been on a contract or a Verizon phone that is not unlocked. Prepaid phones cannot be used such as at Wal-Mart, Target, BestBuy etc.
